NC Construction was appointed as Main Contractor by Akelius to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of Lambert Court, enhancing both the internal communal areas and the external fabric of the building.
The project focused on improving the building’s overall condition, safety, and visual appeal through a full programme of internal, external, and roofing works. Our team worked collaboratively with the client to deliver high-quality results within a live residential setting, ensuring minimal disruption to occupants throughout the 21-week programme.
The refurbishment and upgrade package included:
Redecoration of internal communal areas
Replacement of communal carpet flooring
Renewal of ground floor tiles
Fire door upgrades to communal areas and individual flats
Installation of new building signage
Upgrade to internal and external lighting, including emergency lighting
External redecoration of soffits, balconies, gutters, and downpipes
Brickwork repairs and re-pointing
Soft landscaping improvements
Installation of new external bollards
Construction of a new bike store
The Lambert Court project was delivered to a high standard of finish, with a strong focus on safety, resident communication, and programme efficiency. Our proactive coordination ensured all works were completed safely and within the agreed timeframe, with each phase carefully managed to maintain access and security for residents.
The completed works have transformed the appearance and functionality of the building, improving its long-term performance and providing residents with a refreshed, safer, and more welcoming environment.
